September Favorites 2013

It's that time of the month again ladies (and gents), time for my monthly favorites. Watch my video after the jump to see what products I've been loving during the month of September. Also, keep in mind that this is the first video I've ever filmed in my dorm room here in London, so the lighting is a bit dodgy and I look incredibly tired due to jet lag and lack of sleep.

June Favorites 2013 (MAC, Urban Decay, Revlon + More!)

Hey everyone! It's hump day aka Wednesday and to get you over that hump I bring to you my very first video on my new YouTube channel! I deliberately waited until the end of the month to release the first video on my new channel because I wanted it to be a monthly favorites. Monthly favorites and hauls are my favorite videos to watch so I wanted to start off with one of those. Hope you enjoy~

February Favorites 2013

I can't believe it's the last day of February already! The month seemed to pass by me in the blink of an eye. I apologize for the shortage of posts this month but between classes, interning and performing there was little time for me to blog. I hope to be a lot more active come March and I'm also determined to finally put up my 100 followers giveaway! I've also been thinking about a name change for my blog to make it a little bit more personal; my top choice at the moment is Ellehearts92. Let me know what you guys think, yay or nay to the blog name change?

Anyways, lets get on with my February Favorites, which of course I created once again using Polyvore. So if you're a Polyvore user like me, then be sure to follow me there as well!

February Favorites 2013

1. Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Secreté ($38) - I hauled this in my recent Barneys New York Haul and even though it's only been a little over a week since I've purchased it, I already know I'm going to be using it well into Spring and Summer. The color is a beautiful mauve-pink and is very moisturizing and highly pigmented. It lasts for a long time and it seems to leave a staining effect on my lips so even if you lose the satin finish, the color still stays.

2. Bobbi Brown EXTRA Eye Repair Cream ($69) - I also hauled this in my recent Barneys New York Haul and even though it is extremely pricey, it is worth every penny. This eye cream is very rich and moisturizing and a little bit goes a long way. It has a much thicker consistency than most eye creams I've tried but it really works to hydrate your eyes and it has an added bonus of priming your eyes for any concealer you may put on.

3. First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream ($20) - I bought this a while ago when I was picking up things for my Florida trip in January with my boyfriend. I remember Lindsey, or Beautybaby44 on YT, mentioning that she likes to use it as a day cream as part of her skincare regimen for oily/acne prone skin so I wanted to give it a try since I was dealing with some pretty bad breakouts at the time. So far I'm really liking it, it's hydrating without being too heavy or oily feeling. I can't say that it does anything in terms of oil or shine control but at least it's not breaking me out and my skin has started to come under more control.

4. NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Angel ($6) - I bought this off of Hautelook a while ago when they were having a NYX sale and it came in a three-pack of blushes. I've been reaching for this one in the shade Angel a lot lately because it's a very light pink that gives you a very subtle glow. I think it's great for the winter time when my skin doesn't have a lot of color because darker blush shades can be too harsh and clown looking on me.

5. Almay Eraser Sticks ($4.89) - I've had these babies for a long time and I've only just gotten down to my last three. These are basically q-tips with makeup remover inside so you can fix any mistakes on the go. You snap off one end of the q-tip and allow the remover to seep into the other end, remove your makeup, and you're done! They're extremely convenient and way more sanitary than any reusable makeup eraser sticks in my opinion.

I hope you enjoyed this favorites post and found some of these products interesting. Remember to follow me on Twitter and Instagram for more updates!

January Favorites

I didn't even realize it was already February until I looked at my calendar today, and you know what the beginning of a new month means: monthly favorites! All my favorites from the month of January were products that I brought with me on vacation. They've certainly been pushed to their limits since while I was on vacation I was running around, out for over 12 hours a day and I didn't have much time to stop and reapply makeup.
January Favorites 2013

1. Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Golden Mosaic ($40) - I got a sample size of this product from the In The Glow set I bought from Sephora and decided to bring it with me since one half of it has contour shades and the other half has highlight shades. I used this product the entire time I was on vacation to highlight and contour and it worked perfectly. However, if you don't like any kind of shimmer in your highlighting and contouring products then I would skip this since it does have a hint of shimmer in it.

2. Too Faced Lashgasm Mascara ($21) - I got this full sized product as part of my Too Faced Shadow  Bon Bons ($42) set and reviewed it along with the shadows and Shadow Insurance here. I mentioned how it impressed me in my review and it impressed me once again while I was on vacation. It's perfect for lengthening and defining your lashes. It also stayed put all day and didn't smudge.

3. Urban Decay Naked Palette ($50) - Do I even need to explain why this made it onto my favorites this month? It's my go to palette for traveling since it has all the warm neutral colors I love and could possibly need while I'm away. It's an oldie but a definite goodie, and if you don't have it, I highly suggest getting it!

4. Sigma Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit ($120) - Okay, I know the picture is not of the Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit but rather the Mr. Bunny Essential Kit, but you'll have to excuse that since for some reason I couldn't find the Mrs. Bunny set when I was creating this favorites set. Anyways, I finally purchased Sigma's synthetic Sigmax brush set and I brought it with me on vacation and loved it! The brushes are so smooth and soft, and they apply makeup wonderfully.

5. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder with Real Cocoa ($29) - I also got this as part of the In The Glow set from Sephora and I brought it with me on vacation since it was a smaller travel sized version and I had heard great things about it. I used it the entire time I was on vacation and I absolutely loved it. It really does smell like chocolate and it gives your skin this nice hint of color.

6. Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm in Cherry Me ($2.97) - I believe this has showed up on my favorites list before and it's back on because this was the only lip product I used while I was on vacation. It's so easy to apply and it gives a nice hint of gloss and color. It's also very moisturizing so I was able to get a good color on my lips and hydrate them at the same time! The product also conveniently fits in my boyfriend's pockets so that was a plus as well. If you want to know more, I wrote a review here.

December Favorites

Even though I just concluded my Elle Awards of 2012 earlier this week, awarding my favorite products for eyes, lips and face, I still wanted to do a monthly favorites because they may not be reflected in my top products of the year. I also wanted to let everyone know that I'm interning full time for a family friend during January and then on the 16th I'll be leaving for Orlando where I'll be staying for the remainder of the month until I start classes again, which means I won't be posting as often this month. I'm going to try to get as many posts up as I can in the beginning of the month to make up for a lack of posts towards the end. But, I'll definitely be tweeting and posting pics of my trip on Instagram so be sure to follow me there for updates!

December Favorites 2012

1. Pixi Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach ($15) - I mentioned that I hoped this product would be a dupe for my Bobbi Brown Corrector ($23) in my Target & Lush haul back in November and much to my pleasure it practically is. Now, the reason I say practically is because while the shade, texture and correcting effect is all the same, I've noticed the Pixi corrector is a tad bit sheerer than the Bobbi Brown. While this may seem like a bummer, it works almost just as well and is $8 cheaper. For now this product is under my favorites, but I may switch back to the Bobbi Brown depending on how I feel once I use up this entire product.

2. Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara ($19) - This product won an award for Best Mascara in my Elle Awards of 2012, and for good reason. It lengthens your lashes like crazy and it doesn't smudge. I have a terrible problem with mascara smudging underneath my eyes but this one stays put by the end of the day. I also wrote an in depth review of it here if you'd like to know more.

3. Aussie Aussome Volume Mousse ($2.50) - This volumizer was on my December Wish List and the first chance I got I raced to Target and picked it up. I've been using this product every day I go out ever since I purchased it last month and I love it. It definitely gives my hair some volume and body, which my stick straight and thin Asian hair seriously needs.

4. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray ($29) - I've had this product for quite a while now and since I've gotten a lot busier and have been out longer these days, I've started to use it almost daily. It's great for setting my makeup and making it last throughout the day.

5. Lush Sweet Lips Lip Scrub ($9.95) - I've always loved this product but I've started appreciating it more since the cold weather has been taking a serious toll on my lips. I use this product every morning and night in the shower to scrub away any dead skin and my lips have been looking soft and full all Winter!

November Favorites!

I'm a few days late but here are my favorite beauty products for the month of November. I decided to go with a different approach on sharing my favorites by creating a set on Polyvore. If you don't know already, Polyvore is a website where you can create and share collages of beauty products, fashion items, and much more. If you're already a Polyvore member, you can follow me here and I'll follow back. Now onto my favorites!

November Favorites 2012

November Favorites 2012 by lipstickndlace

1. Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons Set ($42) - This set by Too Faced comes with 12 beautiful shadows, a travel-sized version of the Candlelight Shadow Insurance and a full-sized version of the Lash'GASM Mascara. I purchased this product about three weeks ago and I've been using it nonstop ever since. I think it would make a great gift for the holidays to friends, family or even yourself! If you're interested in knowing more, I wrote an in-depth review including swatches of all the shadows and reviews on the primer and mascara as well.

2. Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Exposed ($24) - I got this Tarte LipSurgence as part of a 5 piece LipSurgence Collector's Edition set that I had included in my Sephora VIB 20% Off Haul. My favorite LipSurgence out of the set at the moment is the Matte Lip Tint in Exposed. It gives this great pinky nude color to your lips and lasts for a really long time.

3. bareMinerals READY SPF 15 Touch Up Veil in Translucent ($22) - I also purchased this using my Sephora VIB 20% Off and while I was skeptical at first at it being any different from the loose powder version I already own, it turns out that I like this one much more. It sets my makeup perfectly without any "cakeiness."

4. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Sassy Mauve ($4.99) - I hauled this in my recent Target & Lush Haul and even though I only got it a little over a week ago I already know this will be my go-to lipstick for the Winter. It's the perfect mauve shade that works great with any outfit or look.

5. NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Mocha ($6.00) - I purchased this as part of a set on Hautelook a little over a month ago and it has quickly become my favorite Fall/Winter blush. It's a matte mid-tone pink shade that gives you a nice warm glow. Also, the color payoff is amazing!

6. LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub ($21.95) - I cannot explain how much I am in love with this product. I got a few samples of it back in September during one of my LUSH hauls  and I've been using it once a week ever since. I've almost run out of the two samples I got and I just had to purchase the full-sized version. I've started using this product twice a week to slough off any dead or dry skin cells and it leaves my face looking radiant and refreshed. I also love how it smells like the beach!

I hope you enjoyed this haul and let me know if you like this new way of presenting my favorites. I find it much more organized and aesthetically pleasing than the typically messy and dark photos I usually take.

October Favorites

I have power again! I'm luckily in one of the only two buildings around me that has regained electricity and running water. Unfortunately, I'm still without hot water or heat so I've been boiling water and pouring it into my tub. It's not that bad once you get used to the shivering!

I wanted to take this chance to get my up my monthly favorites. I don't have many this month because I've been too busy with midterms to go shopping but these favorites are all definite favorites and will most likely be my go-to products for a long time.

1. Urban Decay Naked 2 ($50) - I bought the Naked 2 during the second batch of releases when it first came out. I remember when I initially swatched all the colors I was pretty excited to use it until I realized that the colors didn't go together as well as the shades from the Naked palette. The Naked 2 had been sitting in my makeup collection collecting dust for a while until recently when I decided to try it out again. While the colors may not match as obviously as the Naked palette, where typically the shades next to each other will create a great look, if you mix and match colors from all around the palette and even some from the Naked palette you can get a lot of different looks. My favorite shadows to mix together at the moment are: Bootycall all over the lid, Tease in the crease, a light dusting of Verve on top and Foxy as a highlight.

2. NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny ($2.99) - This product was from my latest Target haul and I already have an in-depth review of it on my blog. As I mentioned in my review, which you can read for more details, this bronzer is extremely affordable and delivers great color for lighter skin tones. A light dusting of this all over the face gives a sun-kissed glow. I've compared it to the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and found that they deliver the same color and pigmentation, with NYC's bronzer being way more affordable and a lot more travel-friendly.

3. L'Oreal Voluminous Full Definition Mascara ($5.84+) - Another product from my latest Target haul, this mascara has quickly become my favorite mascara. I wrote a rave review on it here that you can check out for more details. This mascara delivers lots of length and definition giving the illusion that you're wearing false eyelashes. I can't get enough of it and it has topped even my specialty/department store mascaras.

4. Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me ($2.99) - This product was featured in my ❤ Fall tag as my favorite lip product, mentioned last month as a favorite and I did an in-depth review of it here. As you can see, I absolutely love this product and can't get enough of it. It delivers a sheer tint of red to your lips giving you a "your lips but better" color. I also love how it does double duty by providing color and moisturization.

A relatively short favorites list this month but I do suggest trying out one if not all of these products. They're all wonderful products and three out of four of them you can find readily available and affordable at your local drugstore.

What were your favorites for October? I'd love to know!

TAG: I ❤ Fall!

I finally finished all my midterms! I feel so relieved and pretty accomplished because I got through them all. I'm also super excited to get back to blogging on a regular basis. I saw the I ❤ Fall tag going around YT lately and I thought it'd be a great tag to do to welcome in the Fall season. Here's the questions:
  1. Favorite Fall lip product
  2.
Favorite Fall Nail Polish
  3.
Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink
  4.
Favorite Fall Candle
  5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory
  6.
Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze
  7. Favorite Halloween movie
  8.
Favorite candy to eat on Halloween
  9.
What are you dressing up as for Halloween
  10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall
Now on to my answers!

1. Favorite Fall lip product

You already know! My Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me ($2.99) is always in my purse nowadays because it's so perfect for this season. It's low-maintenance so I don't have to worry about it smudging and I can reapply it easily when I'm in class. It's hydrating so it keeps my lips from drying out due to the cold and harsh winds. And it's such a pretty "your lips but better" shade that I just can't resist! Check out my review if you want to know more.

2. Favorite Fall nail polish

This is my newest polish from my recent Target haul but it's quickly became my Fall favorite. It's a really nice deep berry color that is perfect for the season and as with all Essie polishes, the quality is great. I do have a swatch of it on my Instagram (@lipstickndlace) so if you're interested check it out.

3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink

I don't drink coffee, or rather, I can't. Whenever I drink coffee I'm bouncing off the walls and can't concentrate on anything for more than a few seconds. So I'm not the kind of person who's all excited about the new Pumpkin Spice Latte or whatever it is. My favorite Fall drink from Starbucks is a hot chocolate!

4. Favorite Fall Candle

I've only just started getting into candles because my mother is deathly afraid of them, she believes that the moment you light one it will set fire to everything. I've finally convinced her that they're not that bad and she allowed me one. This one candle is Bath and Body Work's Marshmallow Fireside and I love it. It smells so homey and delicious, it just smells like all things Fall and Winter. I also bought the Leaves candle for my boyfriend's place but this one has a much subtler and sweeter scent.

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or Accessory

My favorite fall scarf/accessory is hands down my Burberry wool/silk scarf. It's giant and light weight so you can wrap it around yourself to accessorize and keep warm without getting too hot. I also love how it matches with practically anything so it's a really easy grab and go accessory.

6. Haunted House, Haunted Hay Ride, or Haunted Corn Maze

I'm pretty much forced to choose haunted house because I've only ever been to one haunted house in my life, and it was Nightmare in NYC. I've never been on a haunted hay ride or been in a haunted corn maze, I'm just not into paying to get myself scared. I don't even watch scary movies.

7. Favorite Halloween Movie

I'm a sucker for Disney movies and I remember watching Halloweentown every single year during Halloween when I was a kid. I actually hate scary movies so this family oriented movie was just up my alley.

8. Favorite Candy to Eat on Halloween

I'm not a big candy eater so I don't have a favorite candy to eat. Candy corn is okay, and while I do like lollipops and chocolate I feel like you can eat that all year round so it doesn't really count.

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween

Hate to be a buzzkill but I'm probably not dressing up for Halloween this year. I'm not a big Halloween fan because I live in the city and there's no such thing as trick-or-treating around here. Most people just go to clubs in their costumes but people can get really drunk and violent so I prefer being safe and staying home, I can go clubbing any other 364 days a year.

10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall

My favorite thing about Fall has definitely got to be Fall fashion. I love layering and looking warm and cozy. I also love to read all the September issues of all the fashion magazines!

I tag everyone reading this post to do this tag if they want but I specifically tag DrinkCitra, Jayne at Cosmetic Proof and Sherry Williams of I AM PISCES! I'd love to see your answers ladies(:

September Favorites!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a week since I last posted but I've been extremely busy with school and performing so I just haven't had the time. I spent this whole weekend performing for the Travel & Leisure Global Bazaar at the Lexington Armory. I got to sample food and drinks from various countries, famous chefs and even got to go zip lining. The highlight of my weekend was meeting Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto!

Pretty cool right? Well anyways, I warn you all that my posts will be rather sparse this month since I have all my midterms these next three weeks. I also have to plan and book my vacation with my boyfriend in January, we're planning to go to Disney World, Universal Orlando and Sea World Orlando. So I'm going to try my best to post as much as I can but I probably won't be posting as much as I usually do.

Now on to the real topic of this post, my September Favorites. September flew by and I believe it, between school and performances I haven't had much time for anything else. My favorite products this month are all mainly skincare products because as I mentioned in previous posts, my skin has been misbehaving lately so I've been on the hunt for a new skincare routine. A majority of these products are from my Lush haul at the beginning of this month, so check that out if you want to know more.

1. Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me ($2.99) - This has been my go-to lip product this entire month. It's one of those your lip color but better shades of red and I love how it smells like a jolly rancher. It's a very low-maintenance product, which is great for me now because I've been so busy, and it does double duty by also being a lip balm. I'll probably be doing a review on this product soon so keep your eyes out.

2. LUSH Tea Tree Water Toner ($8.95) - I've never used a toner before now but this product has got me hooked. It feels really refreshing when sprayed all over the face and I have noticed that I've had significantly less breakouts since I've started using it. Tea tree water helps to draw out any impurities such as blackhead and excess oil. I'll also be doing a review on this product soon, so keep your eyes out once again!

3. LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter ($14.95) - Wow, do I love this stuff. I use it on my heels every time I get out of the shower and I've noticed my heels have become a million times softer. I used to have extremely dry and cracked heels but ever since I've started using this my heels have become very smooth. If you want to know more I have a review on this product here.

4. EOS Organic Lip Balm Sphere in Strawberry Sorbet ($2.99) - I was extremely late on the EOS lip balm train but it's better later than never. I had my doubts about this product because the idea of carrying around a giant egg shaped lip balm was not appealing to me, but I'm glad I gave it a try. The product feels great on the lips, it moisturizes without feeling sticky or greasy and I love the way it smells. I really wanted to get the limited edition Alice in Wonderland pack but I can't find it anywhere!

5. LUSH Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub Sample (Free) - I got this sample with the rest of the Lush products and I'm so glad I did. I use it once a week and it really scrubs deep down into my pores getting out all the blackheads and getting rid of any dead skin. It's pretty harsh, I'm not going to lie, but using it once a week is good enough. I love this product so much that the next time I'm at a Lush, I'm definitely picking a full size up.

I hope you enjoyed this post and once again my apologies for not posting as much. I'm going to try to post as much as I can these following weeks but I can't guarantee anything since my midterms are looking to be really tough this semester. Wish me luck!

August Favorites 2012

I cannot believe, or rather I don't want to believe that August is already over. The end of August means only one thing to me, school is back and all my free time is now gone. This past week was my first week of classes and so far so good, my professors seem pretty nice and I'm not getting too much work.

Anyways, as for this August favorites, I was almost not going to even put up a favorites post this month because I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup lately and my favorites for this month were generally the same as last month. But, I took a look at my makeup collection anyways and there were a few notable products that I've been using so I decided what the heck, I'll do it.

So these are my favorite beauty products for August 2012 and as you can see there's only four and one of them is a repeat from last month. Because of summer classes and the heat I've been trying to go makeup free as much as I can because I have started to break out a little bit on my forehead and I'm pretty sure it's from sweat and constantly brushing my bangs out of my face. But there are a few products I have been loving this month that I noticed I didn't mention last month so here they are.

From left to right, top to bottom:
1. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h ($44) - I recently purchased this foundation and I mentioned it in my Sephora haul but I have been totally loving it. Usually I use my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 but for the days that I need more coverage and a longer lasting makeup look I'll immediately reach for this. I'll have a review up soon so I don't want to go into too much detail but it matches my skin tone perfectly, blends seamlessly and lasts all day. I think it might become my HG foundation.

2. Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer ($70) - This is a repeat from my July favorites but I wanted to mention it again because I absolutely love this concealer. I always struggle to find good concealers so I finally gave in and bought this absurdly expensive one. The price tag is outrageous but the product is so great that I think it's worth it. It completely conceals my dark circles and it doesn't cake up or dry out under my eyes, which is a huge problem for me with concealers. I'll still look for a cheaper alternative but for now this is my HG concealer.

3. Urban Decay Naked Palette ($50) - I don't think I even have to explain why this is on my August favorites. I'm pretty sure everyone reading this post either owns or has at least heard of this palette. It's my absolute favorite palette because I almost always wear neutral colored lids. I've been loving it a lot more lately because the color combinations are total no-brainers, so if I want to look a tad bit more glam for school but I'm low on time, this palette is what I immediately reach for.

4. Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner ($20) - For a while I was wearing only pencil liner because I feel liquid liner is too harsh for the summer but now that it's been getting chillier here in the city I've started migrating back to liquid. This is a great liquid liner because not only is the packaging cute but the product is amazing as well. This liner is a drier formula so it won't bleed all over your lids when you're doing your makeup. Also, the applicator is a fine tip point made of stiff bristles so you can get a thin or thick line and it's easy to use.

Hopefully I have more favorites next month to share with you all but I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what your favorite products of the month are with a comment below, or link me to your August Favorites post!

July Beauty Favorites!

Well July sure flew by quickly for me. The first half of the month I spent in Florida at Disney World and Universal Orlando and the second half I spent in summer classes. Clearly, the first half of my July was the better half. But, at last the month is coming to a close and that means July beauty favs!

I'm still using a lot of my faves from June, like the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish and the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil, but there are a few new additions to my summer beauty routine.

First up we have probably the most expensive beauty item I've ever purchased in my life, the Cle De Peau Beaute Concealer ($70). Now I'm not in the habit of buying extremely expensive products but I decided to make an exception for this one. My entire life I've been searching for a concealer for my under eye circles and I could never find one that had the right coverage and consistency. I had all but given up until I heard about all these rave reviews regarding this concealer. I feel it was totally worth the $70 because it covers my dark circles like magic, and since I've been waking up at 6:45AM every Monday through Thursday for summer courses I have some serious circles to conceal.

My second favorite is this Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara ($19). I bought this a while ago from Sephora and I never paid much mind to it until recently. I don't know what came over me to go on and grab this mascara out of the bunch I have but I'm glad I did. It really lengthens my lashes and holds my curl.

I actually just purchased this Herbal Essences Hydralicious Shampoo ($8.67) & Conditioner ($8.67) about a week ago and I'm already completely in love with it. I couldn't quite put my finger on the scent for a while but in its description on Amazon it says that it has the scent of water lily nectar and passion fruit, all I can say is that it smells amazing. Most shampoos and conditioner weigh my straight and thin hair down but this duo leaves my hair soft and bouncy. I actually wake up in the morning with perfect looking hair, something that used to never happen to me with any other shampoo or conditioner I've used before.

Another drugstore and monthly beauty favorite is a longtime favorite of many beauty gurus, the Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm ($2.97) in Pink Punch. I'm pretty late to the game because when they first came out I figured it was just a glorified lip balm but now I see why everybody loves it. It definitely gives your lips a good amount of moisture and on top of that it gives your lips a nice hint of color. This shade in Pink Punch gives a hot pink sheen to your lips and I love how it feels lightweight, which is perfect for these hot summer days. It's a great product to take with you to the beach.

And finally, I've been really into my MAC Hey, Sailor! Blush ($21) in Fleet Fast! Like the Eyeko mascara, this was just lying around in my makeup arsenal for a while until I felt the urge to take it out again. It gives a nice peachy coral tint to the cheeks, giving me a nice and healthy glow for the summer.

So what are your July beauty favorites? I'd love to know! If you have a blog post please link it below, and if not then feel free to comment.

XOXO,
Elle
