Review: Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach
The drugstore's been killing it lately! I recently raved about the Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon and the Maybelline Masterprecise Liquid Eyeliner, and now I'm going to rave about the Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin-up Peach ($5.94). Maybelline Color Whispers, along with Revlon Lip Butters have been the biggest hit at the drugstore in terms of lip products. I was skeptical at first of the Color Whispers, I figured they'd be just like the Revlon Lip Butters since they were marketed as sheer color with hydration. However, after testing it out and comparing the two they're definitely not the same product.

Manicure Monday: Cherry Blossom French Manicure Nails
Happy Manicure Monday everyone! I recently discovered Elleandish's YouTube channel and was inspired to try nail stamping. I had always been interested in it before but I never had enough inspiration or courage to invest my money in a stamper, scraper and plate. Janelle made it seem so easy in her tutorials that I figured it couldn't hurt to try. I followed her Cherry Blossom French Manicure Nail Tutorial step by step and this was the result, not bad for a first time stamper right?

Review: Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream Kiss
Have you heard of Nivea Lip Butters ($3.99) yet? If not, then ask yourself where you've been the past few months! Nivea Lip Butters have been all the rage in the beauty community as of late, being the hottest chapstick-like lip product to hit the drugstores since Maybelline's Baby Lips. I happened upon a display of these lip butters in the skincare section at Target, why they weren't with the rest of the lip products is beyond me, but I decided to pick one up since everyone had been blogging and vlogging about it.

Review: Maybelline Masterprecise Liquid Eyeliner
I love myself a good liquid liner. They give the boldest and longest lasting lines but a truly good one is hard to find. I've tried my fair share of liquid liners, everything from high end to drugstore and trust me, not all liquid liners are made equal. There's the bad: the ones that have dried out in a couple of weeks, the ones that were difficult to handle and the ones that were just all around bad. Then there's the good: the ones that were extremely precise, the ones that stayed on without smudging and the ones that were mind-blowingly amazing.
Now this Maybelline Masterprecise Liquid Eyeliner ($5.70) in Black wasn't totally mind-blowing but it was pretty darn amazing for a drugstore liner in my opinion. I hadn't done much research on this product but I recalled hearing a few YT beauty gurus saying good things about it. I was in the market for a new liquid liner anyways and decided to pick it up and give it a try. For $5.70 how could I really go wrong?

Website Spotlight: Bloglovin'
So it's true, as of July 1st Google Friend Connect will leave us. So what does that mean for us bloggers and readers? We'll have to find another way to connect to our readers and with the blogs we love to follow. Thankfully, there are plenty of alternates to GFC and some are even better. One of those even better ways is through a site I'm sure many of you have heard of by now, Bloglovin'.

Review: Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon
I'm sure all my regular readers could already tell but in case you're new to this blog, I'm a huge fan of the Revlon Lip Butters! When I heard that a new set of shades were coming out for Spring/Summer I made a mental note to pick at least one of them up the next time I made a stop at Target to get groceries. I had done a little bit of research before I went and was really torn between the shades Juicy Papaya and Wild Watermelon ($6.49).

Review: L'Oreal Nail Color in Pistachio Dream
Growing up my entire nail polish collection consisted of 50 shades of Pink, I had baby pinks, hot pinks, Barbie pinks and the occasional red. Never would I have ever fathomed purchasing a polish that wasn't pink, especially not a light mint green! But now that I'm older and the trends have changed rather dramatically since the '90s, I now own a few colors other than Pink. Actually, I've found myself really enjoying different shades of blue and now I find myself developing an interest in greens.
I was heavily influenced by Makeup By Tiffany D to purchase this L'Oreal Nail Color ($4.99) in the shade Pistachio Dream. I had never tried a L'Oreal polish before and I really didn't know what to expect except for what Tiffany D had said about the polish in her videos.

Pose Fashion Forecast
There is one problem that plagues me every day without fail, and that is the question of what should I wear?! I'm sure that everyone on this planet has encountered this dilemma, whether you're trying to figure out what to wear to a special occasion or what to wear to run some errands. And a huge factor in deciding what you should wear usually comes down to the weather. Which by the way, I highly advise not wearing a dress or a skirt on a very windy day, because trust me I've done that by mistake and Marilyn Monroe moments are not as glamorous as she makes them seem.
Enter Pose's Fashion Forecast, a daily email telling you the weather conditions in your area and two poses from members of the Pose community for outfit inspiration. I've been subscribed to this service for a few days now and I'm already loving it. I typically spend around 10-15 minutes in the morning just sitting there contemplating what to wear and whether it is weather appropriate. This email takes about a minute to glance at and it helps to lead me on the right track. Check out an example of what the Fashion Forecast looks like after the jump!
